BACKGROUND INFORMATION
I work in the field that I have a great deal of passion, enthusiasm, and expertise - as an artist, both in its digital and traditional forms. I have worked for Game Studios, Movie, and FX companies in positions of lead artist, senior artist, animator, 3D artist, concept artist, and coordinator. Additionally, I also create Illustration work for book covers, developed interactive e-learning, T-shirts, advertising, and everything in between. 3D modeling from concept and developed through to final implemented characters and environments including hard-surface assets. Animations created with keyframe and motion capture for sports games, serious games. Cinematics created throughout my career, including lipsync, cutscenes and intro animations. Teaching e-sports, concept art and games development up to and including level 6 (BA). AI and Metahumans - Unreal 5.
I have senior, lead experience responsible for delivery of core strategic ambitions overseeing various teams from concept thru to completion and final approval. Lead artist, team management, office management and studio co-ordinator positions added to organisational skills, and considerate leadership roles enhanced through teaching. I am experienced at finding solutions in a timely manner to problems while able to work with and build an exemplary team.
I have end to end experience working from concept to 3D modeler up to lead / management levels on multiple delivery frameworks and am comfortable with current technology and workflows. Developing new teams and joining established multidisciplinary teams, I have developed new pipelines, and enhanced existing workflows to achieve better results. I have held responsibility for keeping the project on track in terms of time, quality and meeting the studio/client expectations. Having worked the full life of several projects - there is a full understanding of the responsibility of producing a quality final product within the given timeline.
Added to my experience of working in games and movies, I have experience in graphic design for print and have created motion graphic ad's for the cinema and intro's for TV and web. I have experience in website design created at first in HTML and then utilising various tools and software. Working as a lecturer has enabled me to successfully develop and enhance my skills in managing people with varying ability levels and motivation. I am passionate about the creative industry and have an enthusiastic can-do attitude towards the work. There is an enormous cross over with technology and I look forward to sharing some of my experience.

3D MODELS AND ANIMATION- Shown in my portfolio are models I have created while working in the games and movie industry . Some well known titles I have worked on include; Grand Theft Auto IV, Get Away, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Test Drive Off-Road II, Mass Effect and various other games and platforms - There are also models and animations created for a number of TV shows including Hero's and HBO. 3D work from other fields including medical and publishing.
Movie work includes Poseidon, Outlander, Snakes on a Plane, Garfield II, Dr Doolittle III, Stay Alive, The Guardian, Rush Hour 3, Grindhouse, Cats & Dogs, Where the wild things are, The Reaping, The Last Mimzy, Blades of Glory, The Fountain and others.
2D DIGITAL AND TRADITIONAL - There is a wide range of artwork from animation, comic novels, backgrounds, advertising, logo development to gallery sold oil paintings, and finally website development, interface design, graphic design and illustration work.
NOVELS - I have written and include the covers I created - story synopsis and links to purchase the novels for e-reading or paperback from Amazon available on request.
